If you are a nature lover, wanting to find a place to get escaped from your daily stress, and deciding to head your way to Gardens by the Bay, you are making a wise decision, as Gardens by the Bay has the beauty that is enough to engross any visitor.
With the width of 101 ha, and designed by Grant Associates- a famous American architect company, Gardens by the Bay is divided into three areas: Eastern garden and Southern garden, which both lead to the central garden. Meanwhile, the Southern garden is the biggest and the most impressive one, with many interesting places. Now, let me guide a tour for you going through Gardens by the Bay.

There is a little note for those who want to go to the gardens by private vehicle. Finding a parking place there is quite difficult, because Gardens by the Bay is really big. In order to have the most convenient visit, I suggest that you should go by public transports, which is much more convenient as this area situates in the centre of Singapore. The nearest MRT is Gardens by the Bay, located in Thompson East Coast Line (also known as the brown line), and there are a lot of bus stops near by. Otherwise, it is also a good idea if you intend to reach the garden by taxi, as it will save you time and energy spending in visiting the garden.
Gardens by the Bay open 7 days a week, from 9am to 9pm daily. You can also watch a light and flower display called Garden Rhapsody if you come there on 7.45pm and 8.45pm. However, for me, the most beautiful time to visit this place is during daytime, especially in the morning, when the sunlight shed through the glass root of the garden, bringing actual beauty, energy and livelihood to the trees and flowers.
There are two places that I consider to be a must-visit when coming to Gardens by the Bay: Flower Dome and Cloud Forest, that, in my opinion, are the most beautiful places. Although the entrance fee for these two places are also the highest (and a bit expensive), you can still get discount to only $20 if you go at the start of October, when there is a discount for visitors using credit/debit card from Singaporean banks. However, the money you have to pay is totally worth your experience here. Believe me, you will never regret when you visit Gardens by the Bay at least once in a lifetime.
Cloud Forest:

When first entering this place, welcome you is a 35m fall- the tallest indoor fall in the world, covered by dew and green trees. In this place, you can witness the life of flora from the tropical highlands with the height of up to 2000m from the sea. You will definitely enjoy the experience of wandering in the Garden Walk- a way that lead you weave through the strangest flora in the world. When I came here in October, there is also an experience in the Avatar world, with a dinosaurs model that can scream and move its body, and witness the massive ice mountain that is located in the second floor of Cloud Forest. However hot the weather outside, you will never feel the same when entering this place, because of the fall and the air conditioner that is always opened at a low degree to get the best condition for the trees and flowers. When get bored of walking, you can go to some secret room inside the mountain, watching the fall falling outside and hearing its sound, you will definitely fell that you are the only person existing in the world.
Flower Dome:

Flower Dome represent the cool and dry climate of the Mediterranean area, and also the home of various flora from every part of the world. In this place, you can see from the most popular trees like rose, chrysanthemum and daffodil, to the ones that you have never seen before like baobab trees, olive and some trees that I cannot remember the name. There is a suggestion that you should spend time here to go through different flora in the world.
OCBC Skyway:
With the height of 22m from the ground, and the length of 128m long, OCBC Skyway will give you an overview of Supertrees and Singapore's horizon. This is also an ideal place to watch the dawn.
Supertrees:

This can be considered to be the symbol of Singapore, which can be seen in postcards, photos and souvenirs. There are 12 trees in total, each tree has 16 floor in the Supertree Grove. An interesting thing in this place is that even though it is at night, you can still come here to watch the moon and stars. Although the light is out in the whole area, the supertrees will turn into green that look a bit spooky and unique.
After a day wandering at Gardens by the Bay, staying in my mind was the question: Is the gardens help people think about their responsibility in protecting the nature world, as we can not lose those wonderful things?
