If you love the sea and are intrigued by the mysteries hidden beneath the deep blue ocean, the S.E.A Aquarium is sure to be a top tourist destination when you visit Singapore. It's an excellent place to learn about marine life and increase community awareness about protecting the ocean's ecosystem.
Situated on Sentosa Island, a serene spot for a weekend retreat, the S.E.A Aquarium draws numerous visitors due to its distinctiveness and educational focus. To reach this attraction, head to Level 3 of Vivo City Shopping Centre and board the train to Sentosa Island. There's just one stop between the mall and your destination—exit at the Universal Studio Stop and follow the signs to the S.E.A Aquarium. It's only a 5-minute walk, so there's no need to worry about losing your way.
The aquarium entry ticket isn't exactly inexpensive—$44 for adults and around $34 for children under 13—but it's worth the cost. You'll want a fully charged phone and an open mind to explore and learn about underwater life. Once you pass through the entrance, there's a spot where you can take photos (with aquarium staff available to assist you in capturing great memories of your visit). You can also print your photo for free before you leave the aquarium.

Upon arriving here, the heat outside felt like being in an oven, but stepping into the aquarium was refreshingly cool, giving the sensation of truly being deep beneath the ocean, surrounded by schools of fish. There are hundreds of fish species here, and I'm certain most are ones you've never encountered before. The majority of the fish are vibrant, with stunning colors that easily capture your attention, and some have unique shapes. What impressed me most was the dolphin. Although there seems to be only one in the pool, and you have to wait a while for it to appear, it's worth it when you finally see the adorable dolphin swimming around, as if greeting visitors. Additionally, there are three jellyfish tanks, which I believe are the most beautiful in the aquarium. Here, you'll see numerous transparent jellyfish swimming in colorful lights, creating a truly magical scene. Furthermore, there's a massive shark tank that might give you a fright, as some of the sharks look quite large and fierce.

If you're interested in learning more about these creatures, you can book a tour that takes you into the lab to explore them further. This service costs around $25. Nonetheless, I believe it would be worthwhile, particularly for children.

If you're interested in contributing to raising awareness about environmental protection, particularly for the ocean, we welcome you to join the aquarium's volunteer program.
If you get the opportunity, it's truly worthwhile to visit this place during your trip to the island.
